The End

God declares your good end!

Genesis 50:19-23

19 And Joseph said to them, Fear not; for am I in the place of God? [Vengeance is His, not mine.]
20 As for you, you thought evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring about that many people should be kept alive, as they are this day.

* Joseph's brothers were extremely fearful that Joseph would turn on them after their father's death. Wasn't it their fault that Joseph was separated from his father all those years? There was a saying when I was growing up, "pay back is a dog". In other words, "You're really going to get it now!"  God has taken away our ability for vengeance. It now belongs to Him.

21 Now therefore, do not be afraid. I will provide for and support you and your little ones. And he comforted them [imparting cheer, hope, strength] and spoke to their hearts [kindly].
22 Joseph dwelt in Egypt, he and his father's household. And Joseph lived 110 years.
23 And Joseph saw Ephraim's children of the third generation; the children also of Machir son of Manasseh were brought up on Joseph's knees.

Isaiah 46:10
Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

As we look at the life of Joseph laid out for us as a map we see what God is saying through the Prophet Isaiah. God not only "says" the end, He declares the end!  We are floundering, kicking, screaming and in fear. He has already planned our good and His expected end.
