32But after I am raised up [to life again], I will go ahead of you to Galilee.
Before Jesus went to the cross. He told His disciples that he would meet Him after His resurrection in Galilee. Why then were they all hiding and in fear? The thought of their Master being alive after the kind of death that they saw with their eyes was too much for them to believe. But, Jesus told them ahead of time.
7Then go quickly and tell His disciples, He has risen from the dead, and behold, He is going before you to Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.
8So they left the tomb hastily with fear and great joy and ran to tell the disciples.
Yes, even the angels acknowledged the Word of the Lord. His word, "He was risen", ahead of time, before His death, was spoken forth by the angels at the tomb.
3 To them also He showed Himself alive after His passion (His suffering in the garden and on the cross) by [a series of] many convincing demonstrations [unquestionable evidences and infallible proofs], appearing to them during forty days and talking [to them] about the things of the kingdom of God.
4 And while being in their company and eating with them, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem but to wait for what the Father had promised, Of which [He said] you have heard Me speak.
Jesus spoke with his disciples for a period of over 40 days after His resurrection. He loved them. He ate with them. He explained the kingdom of God to them and he told them to wait for the Power.
8But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.
