Condemn: to express strong disapproval of; censure, (Law) to pronounce judicial sentence on, to judge or pronounce unfit for use: to compel or force into a particular state or activity
Romans 8:1-2 Amplified Bible (AMP) 1 Therefore, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death.
With the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, that fateful dilemma is resolved. Those who enter into Christâ??s being-here-for-us no longer have to live under a continuous, low-lying black cloud. A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.
WALK AFTER THE SPIRIT? I CANâ??T BE GOOD ALL THE TIME!
5 For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on and pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit and are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on and seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit.
MESSAGE Those who think they can do it on their own end up obsessed with measuring their own moral muscle but never get around to exercising it in real life. Those who trust Godâ??s action in them find that Godâ??s Spirit is in themâ??living and breathing God!
YOU CAN QUOTE JOHN 3:16 KJ BY HEART 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
BUT WHAT ABOUT VERSE 17!!!!
NO CONDEMNATION 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
MESSAGE 16 â??This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.
