We continue our message on the 7 things you need to know in order to be complete.
Ephesians 1: 19 And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing 3. greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the 4. working of His mighty strength,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
*The power of God began working on our behalf before we existed. Yes, Beloved, before we "were", God had us in mind. As His children,we sit (in the spirital realm) in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Remember we are His Body, Glory!
11And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you.
The same power that raised Christ Jesus lives in us. The Holy Spirit remains a life giving power and never leaves us! Hold on to your seats. The resurrection power of the Almighty God lives inside of you. This power raised the dead to life. This power created every miracle that we know about in the Word of God. This power gave life to all of God's creation. This power lives (is alive) in you!
2 Kings 13
20Elisha died, and they buried him. Bands of the Moabites invaded the land in the spring of the next year.
21As a man was being buried [on an open bier], such a band was seen coming; and the man was cast into Elisha's grave. And when the man being let down touched the bones of Elisha, he revived and stood on his feet.
Yes, you read correctly. The Comforter, the Holy Spirit is with you forever. The Holy Spirit infused Elisha's body and even His bones. The Holy Spirit remained alive in Elisa even after he had been dead for year. The Holy Spirit is with us even in death. When the rapture takes place He will be there to change our bodies into an incorruptible body.
1IF THEN you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
2And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth.
3For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.
It is critical that we learn and practice living out of our eternal spirit by the Holy Spirit. Do you see that we have been hoodwinked into settling for less than the supernatural? Christians in the early church expected the supernatural to operate in their lives. Today's church has settled for a new car as "evidence" of walking in the supernatural. Not so with At His Feet Ministries International. No, we are training members to look for, to walk, to live and to expect "above".
Now for God's Mighty Power:
2 Samuel 22
2He said: The Lord is my Rock [of escape from Saul] and my Fortress [in the wilderness] and my Deliverer
3My God, my Rock, in Him will I take refuge; my Shield and the Horn of my salvation; my Stronghold and my Refuge, my Savior--You save me from violence.
4I call on the Lord, Who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.
5For the waves of death enveloped me; the torrents of destruction made me afraid.
6The cords of Sheol were entangling me; I encountered the snares of death.
7In my distress I called upon the Lord; I cried to my God, and He heard my voice from His temple; my cry came into His ears.
God's response to the cry of His child follows, even when His child was AFRAID and DISTRESSED!
8Then the earth reeled and quaked, the foundations of the heavens trembled and shook because He was angry.
9Smoke went up from His nostrils, and devouring fire from His mouth; coals were kindled by it.
10He bowed the heavens and came down; thick darkness was under His feet.
11He rode on a cherub and flew; He was seen upon the wings of the wind.
12He made darkness His canopy around Him, gathering of waters, thick clouds of the skies.
13Out of the brightness before Him coals of fire flamed forth.
14The Lord thundered from heaven, and the Most High uttered His voice.
15He sent out arrows and scattered them; lightning confused and troubled them.
16The channels of the sea were visible, the foundations of the world were uncovered at the rebuke of the Lord, at the blast of the breath of His nostrils.
17He sent from above, He took me; He drew me out of great waters.
18He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me, for they were too mighty for me.
19They came upon me in the day of my calamity, but the Lord was my stay.
20He brought me forth into a large place; He delivered me because He delighted in me.
Oh, God, I want Your immeasurable, unlimited, surpassing great power in me and working for me in the heavenly [places], I expect the Power of the Holy Spirit to work through me. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
